Cusina POS Desktop
Native cashier app for Windows, Mac and Linux. Built on Tauri — 8 MB installer, embedded SQLite, offline-first, ESC/POS thermal printer + cash drawer + RS-232 weighing scale support out of the box. Works as a LAN server for captain tablets.

About the SmartScreen warning. The beta MSI is unsigned, so Windows shows “Publisher unknown” the first time you install. Click More info → Run anyway. The 1.0.x signed build (EV cert) ships in the next release wave.

Install — 60 seconds
- Download the MSI to your billing desk PC.
- Double-click the file. Click More info → Run anyway on the SmartScreen prompt (one time only).
- Accept the EULA, choose Install. The wizard handles WebView2 silently if needed.
- Launch Cusina POS from the Start menu. The app loads cusina.tech/biller and pins to your tray. Sign in with your owner credentials — cashier mode kicks in automatically.
What's in this build
- Touch-optimised /biller kiosk surface (3-column menu grid, 64–72 px tap targets, dominant-hand cart on the right).
- Send KOT → Print Bill → Settle in three taps; Cash / UPI / Card / Wallet picker.
- Live table-call inbox (waiter pings flash on the top bar with chime).
- ESC/POS thermal printer (USB rusb + TCP :9100), cash drawer kick via RJ-11.
- Local SQLite + outbox — bills queue offline and sync the moment the wifi returns.
- Embedded LAN server (:4567) + mDNS so captain tablets discover the register.
- System tray, Windows autostart, single-instance lock, F11 fullscreen, Ctrl+Shift+Q exit.
